The laxative Colac and the cold remedy Vicks are brands that Taisho has licensed.
As part of Taisho's fundamental brand strategy, several divisions are being restructured, specifically: the Category Management Division, which handles brand growth strategies; the Product Planning Division, which formulates short-to medium-term product plans based on consumer needs and research seeds; the Product Development & Launching Division, which coordinates development of the final product with preparations for launch; and the Marketing Division.
